Wholesome food is healthy teeth

   What are sweetnesses dangerous about?
Sweetnesses are pleasant to the taste. But how good are they for your teeth and organism? Candies, pastry, cookies, and other sweetnesses, which children like to eat between ingestion, can harm the teeth. In
addition, in

complement of some sweet food products enters a lot of fat.
Children, who eat much sweetness, consume different types of sugar every day, including sugar (saccharose) and fructose. Starch contained in products also decomposes in the oral cavity, forming sugar.
Do you know that average American eats about 147 pound of sugar in a year? It is enormous amount of sugar! Not surprising, that on average at every 17-year-old inhabitant of this country, more than three teeth affected by caries!
How does sugar affect teeth?
Invisible microorganisms named bacteria live in the oral cavity. Some of these bacteria form a sticky substance on the surface of teeth named dental deposit. When sugar gets into the oral cavity, incrustation bacteria ferment it, forming acids. These acids are strong enough, in order to dissolve enamel, which covers your teeth. Therefore, caries begins.
How to feed correctly, in order to protect teeth from caries?
Before beginning a meal, ask yourself, what components food that you are going to eat consists of. Is there sugar in it? If yes, think again – choosing other products would be more useful for your teeth. Mean that some types of sweetnesses can cause greater harm, than others can. Sticky and masticatory candies stay in the oral cavity for longer time, as compared with products, which are easily chewed and quickly swallowed. Thus, sticky and masticatory sweetnesses result in longer contact of teeth with sugar.
addition, the important value has frequency of sweetnesses intake: whether you eat sweetnesses oftentimes during a day or it is ordinary only during a dessert after dinner.
Destructive acids form in your oral cavity, each time you eat sweetnesses. Acids affect your teeth at least during 20 minutes before they get neutralized. Thus, the more frequent you eat sweetnesses during a day, the greater harm you inflict to Your teeth.
If you love sweetnesses, it is better to use them as a dessert after the main meal, in place of frequent intake during a day between the main meals. In addition, every time, after you ate anything sweet, it is better to brush teeth carefully with a fluorine tooth-paste. If you decided to have a bite after work, feed your child after school, before bedtime, or in other time during a day - eat something not containing plenty of sugar and fat. You see, among such snacks there are many delicious ones, but they are less harmful for Your teeth and for an organism as a whole, as compared with food products, rich in fats and carbohydrates, by the way often possessing lower food value.
Good choice are such products as green-stuff and fruits, bread and pastry from the meal (the flour of coarse grinding) etc.
